On March 26, a Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes will be held at Cunningham Intermediate School in Beloit. On March 12 the school heard from six student ambassadors living with T1D, this discussion was part of an assembly kicking off the campaign to raise funds and awareness for juvenile diabetes. Students will be offering paper sneakers in exchange for donations to support diabetes research through JDRF. Each paper sneaker will have a sponsor’s name on it. At the walk on March 26, the paper sneakers will be pasted on the gym wall for everyone to see.
